The Art of Living With Colour

COLOUR & HOME

There are colours we choose, and there are colours we seem to already know.

There are colours that do not need an introduction. We recognise them before we understand why.

Perhaps it is the particular green of a room we grew up in, the faded ochre of an afternoon, or the deep red of something that has travelled through a family for years. Colour has a way of settling into memory long before we think of it as design.

At Cahlén, this is where our relationship with colour begins. Not with a forecast or a palette assembled for a season, but with the shades that make a room feel instinctively familiar.
