Textiles

The layer of a home that asks to be touched.

Textiles are the layer of a home that asks to be touched, the cushion cover that changes the feel of a sofa, the pillow that turns a chair into a place to stay, the rug that gives a room its ground. Cahlén's textiles are chosen for daily use rather than careful preservation, to be sat on, leaned against, walked over, and returned to. A home is not finished until its soft layers are in place.
