It began with a colour we missed.

A peacock, a garden, and a table worth gathering around.

Somewhere along the way, our tables went quiet. White plates, plain mugs, everything sensible and nothing that made anyone pause.

We missed the colour of the homes we grew up in. The good plates brought out only for guests. Long lunches that ran into evening. A courtyard at dusk, and somewhere beyond the wall, a peacock calling.

Mor Bagh is our way of bringing that feeling back to the table.

The longing
01

The longing

Not a copy of the past, but colour with character. Detailed enough to hold your gaze, easy enough to live with every single day.

The peacock

The peacock

India’s national bird, and the one closest to our heart. For months it was drawn, coloured and drawn again, feather by feather, until it stopped looking like a pattern and started looking like it might move.

The garden

The garden

Around it grew a garden, in two moods of the same day. Dawn, soft and bright, for long lunches. Dusk, deep and warm, for evenings by candlelight.

“After all those months of dreaming it, seeing Mor Bagh on a real table was overwhelming, in the best way.”

Now it's yours to set

Mor Bagh isn't meant for the cupboard. It's meant for ordinary weekdays and festive evenings alike: passed around, talked about, remembered.
